Video games are for fun, right? So, say, a 12-year-old was having fun shooting down citizens in Mass Effect or Dynasty Warriors. So, when he had to stop and go to school, he decided to keep having fun at school. He doesn't bring the video game. He brings a gun.
Too much computer or video games CAN cause mental illness. People get it into their head that they are being punished by getting off their system. They get pissed, and decide to show how much fun they have on the computer to society today.

At Sandy Hook, the guy was probably a video game addict or computer addict. He probably loved killing stuff on the computer or game console, and his parents always pulled him away. He killed his mother. He killed 18 children.
There are many sides to this, and we won't ever know. Technically, all sides are completely correct.
And what about the Holocost? There were no video games then, where your argument now?
Yes, it can make people become violent. But most of the time it is because they already had problems. Once one guy killed his parents because they refused to buy the new Call Of Duty game for him. But everything triggers people to kill. Dogs do when a couple is fighting who gets to keep it. Meat does when vegans go wild. Facebook does when someone unfriends them! I guess we better ban everything, it could make someone kill someone!
